Brazil is a country made up of 26 states and a federal district, with Brasília as its capital. It’s the biggest country in South America, the fifth largest in the world by land, and the seventh by population, with over 212 million people. The majority of the country’s population is Roman Catholic and speaks the Portuguese language. It is famous for the samba dance, beaches like Rio de Janeiro, and the Amazon jungle.
