About
Out of the 12 signs of the zodiac, there are 3 air signs, one of them is Aquarius, and the other two are Gemini and Libra. This eleventh sign of the zodiac is a fixed air sign. It is represented by the Greek water-carrier hero Ganymede. A Greek star-gazer named Ptolemy gave this sign its name in the second century. Its opposite sign is Leo. The Sun is in this zodiac sign in the tropical zodiac from about January 20 to February 18.
History
The ancient Sumerians and Babylonians called the water bearer Enki, who later became Ganymede, a handsome young boy from Phrygia. Zeus saw Ganymede’s sheep on Mount Ida, and he was taken to heaven, becoming a cup-bearer for the gods.
People born under Aquarius are often seen as creative, independent, and super smart. The Europop band Aqua called their second album after this star sign.
