About
Mexico, also called the United Mexican States, is a country in North America with more than 130 million people. The Spaniards created the colonial economy in Mexico in the 1500s. Mexico sits right beside the United States, Guatemala, and Belize. Corn is a big part of Mexican cooking. The country is famous for its beautiful beaches, such as Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.
Features
Its history dates back to 8,000 BC, and it was a major center of early civilizations in Mesoamerica. In Yucatan, Chichen Itza is one of Mexico’s most well-known ancient sites. The Mayan people built this step-pyramid between 700 and 1100 AD.
