Emmy Rossum was born in New York City. From 2008 until 2010, she was married to Justin Siegel. Then, in 2017, she married writer and director Sam Esmail. They welcomed a son in April 2023 after giving birth to a girl on May 24, 2021.

Facts

She started performing early, joining the New York Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus when she was just seven years old. She’s also a singer and put out her first album, Inside Out, in 2007.
